SEATTLE, Wash. -- Oregon showed their depth again in game two as six different Ducks would score in route of a 6-3 victory. The Ducks leave Seattle up 2-0 in the I-5 Cup series and keep their perfect season alive (10-0-0).
1st
The powerplay would get things started as Lars Kroes deflected in a Hunter Voyles blast to make it 1-0 (06:20 assisted by Hunter Voyles and Jimmy Gagan).
Clean cross-ice passing led Liam Baird to find himself all alone in front to make it 2-0 (09:12 assisted by Austin Charnholm and Jimmy Gagan).
2nd
Kirt Fortney found Charlie Maher crashing the net to make it 3-0 (05:40 assisted by Kirt Fortney).
A shorthand breakaway would need three whacks at it before Griffin Minchin buried it on his backhand for his first of the season (12:27 unassisted).
Washington would get on the board at the end of the 2nd to make it 4-1 (16:24).
3rd
An early Washington goal to make it 4-2 gave the Huskies their first sense of hope during the entire series (00:27).
