Oregon Completes the Sweep at Home

Eugene, Oregon. -- The Ducks (13-4-0) stayed undefeated at home and swept Western Washington (8-10-0) in game two of the weekend. Goals from five different Ducks and a shutout from Travis Green would result in a 5-0 final.
1st
Liam Baird would rip home a slap shot for his second goal of the weekend and eighth of the season to take a 1-0 lead (7:43 assisted by Jimmy Gagan).
Connor Rendell found himself in his favorite spot on the ice, the slot, putting it in to make it 2-0 (15:57 assisted by Austin Pultz).
A power-play deflection from Hunter Voyals (19:42 assisted by Kirt Fortney and Austin Pultz) gave the Ducks a 3-0 lead at the end of one.
2nd
Tobin Fix scored from the point on the power play to make it 4-0 (3:57 assisted by Austin Charnholm).
3rd
The Ducks’ 5th power-play goal of the weekend would go to Jimmy Gagan who buried an Ovechkin style one-timer to make it 5-0 (3:22 assisted by Austin Charnholm and Tobin Fix).
Travis Green made 20 saves on 20 shots for a shutout win.
